Sydney Build Expo 2021 has Successfully Applied to Join the Austrade Business Events Grants Program. All Australian businesses including sole traders who book for Sydney Build from January to March 2021 can now apply for up to 50% grant from Austrade to be used for the costs of exhibiting, travel, accommodation and stand contractor fees.

On 11 September 2020 the Australian Government announced it would establish the $50 million Business Events Grants program. This program is funded under the $1 billion Relief and Recovery Fund which is providing assistance to sectors, regions and communities disproportionately affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19.

Sydney Build Expo 2021 has been approved to be part of the Business Events Grants Program.

Closing date for applications to be received by Austrade: 30 Mar 2021 05:00 PM AEDT.

Application detail:  This program is demand driven and will be open until all funding has been allocated.

What do you get? The grant amount will be up to 50 per cent of eligible project expenditure (grant percentage). 

• The minimum grant amount is $10,000.
• The maximum grant amount is $250,000.
